Etihad Rail has announced a long-awaited passenger route that is set to revolutionize travel in the United Arab Emirates. The new rail link between Abu Dhabi and Dubai will significantly reduce travel times and make daily commutes easier for residents and tourists alike.
According to the announcement, the journey from Abu Dhabi to Dubai will take just one hour. Etihad Rail's modern trains are expected to reach a maximum speed of 200 km/h, making them a viable and attractive alternative to road transport.
Each train will be able to carry up to 400 passengers, which will ensure a high level of comfort and reduce congestion. Thanks to the large capacity of the trains, passengers will not have to worry about long waits for the next service.
Strategic stations are planned in both emirates along the route. In Abu Dhabi, trains will stop at Mohamed bin Zayed City, while in Dubai, the final stop will be Jumeirah Golf Estates, one of the well-connected and rapidly developing parts of the city.
