Discover the Hidden Treasure of Ras Al Khaimah – Suwaidi Pearl Farm. Nestled in the charming fishing village of Al Rams, at the foothills of the majestic Al Hajar Mountains, this cultural gem brings history and authenticity to life.

Established in 2005 by Abdulla Rashed Al Suwaidi, heir to a proud lineage of pearl divers, the farm was created in memory of his grandfather and became the first cultured pearl farm in the region – and the only one in the UAE that still preserves traditional, sustainable methods.

Guests are invited to embark on a unique journey aboard a traditional pearl diver’s boat, sailing through serene mangroves and across the lagoon framed by the Al Hajar Mountains, while discovering stories, customs, and techniques passed down through generations.

Itinerary:

• Hotel pickup approximately 09:00 - 10:00 (if transfer is selected, for locations outside Dubai the pick-up time will be later)
• Departure from Al Rams Marina Port at 12:30 PM with a traditional boat
• Visit to the mangroves and their surroundings
• Walk on the floating pontoon from Suwaidi to the pearl farm
• Discover the history of over 1000 years of Arabian pearls, the science, knowledge, and innovation of cultured pearls
• Live demonstration of oyster opening, with only a 60% chance to find the mystical Arabian Pearl
• Return to the hotel around 18:00
