Passengers will be able to pay for Air Arabia low-cost airline tickets not only with traditional payment methods, but also with the AE Coin cryptocurrency. This is the result of cooperation between the airline from the United Arab Emirates and Al Maryah Community Bank.
Air Arabia is a low-cost airline from the United Arab Emirates, which in recent years has distinguished itself on the aviation market with a wide range of connections and attractive prices. Now, the Sharjah-based airline has announced a unique partnership with Al Maryah Community Bank. Passengers can purchase Air Arabia tickets using the AE Coin cryptocurrency. According to the airline, this will be a revolutionary step in digital payments, offering a seamless and secure airline ticket booking experience.
The partnership has been established with Al Maryah Community Bank (Mbank), the first fully certified digital bank in the United Arab Emirates. Passengers can purchase tickets on the AEC Wallet app using AE Coin, a cryptocurrency that is pegged 1:1 to the United Arab Emirates dirham. This step will enable secure payments with low transaction taxes.
