An unlicensed teenager controlled air traffic in Bogota for about an hour

Wizz Air has finally decided to scrap its expensive call centre, the price of which was deterring potential callers. As of January, the Hungarian airline's call centre is no longer charged at €1/minute, although by calling you may unwittingly expose yourself to an even higher fee.
On 13 January, Wizz Air officially discontinued its premium call centre. The number, which passengers could call and solve problems, had been a deterrent for years with its high price. The cost of calling the premium rate number at the Hungarian airline's call centre, for example, was around €1 per minute. Now the call centre will be free, but with one rather significant catch - if a passenger calls and makes a transaction that can be made by the passenger online at no extra cost, the caller will be charged €15 per call.
What does this mean? If, during the call to the call centre, the passenger wants to change the date of the flight, buy a ticket or an additional service for the ticket, he or she will pay an additional €15 for this. This means that it only pays to call the call centre (which is now free) in urgent and difficult cases. Wizz Air's free (now, with this catch) call centre can be found on the Wizz Air website under ‘Contact us’.
