Krakow-Balice Airport handled over 1.3 million passengers in May 2026. This is one of the best results in the airport’s history.
Compared to May 2025, when just under 1.2 million travelers used the airport, this year’s figure is up by nearly 16 percent. Kraków Airport currently remains the fastest-growing airport in the country. The dynamic growth in passenger traffic confirms the growing popularity of the city and the region among tourists. The strong results from May are a positive sign ahead of the summer season, which traditionally generates the highest air traffic.
