As of June 1, 2026, the route network of the Ulma Family Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport has expanded to include a new regular destination. Wizz Air has launched direct flights to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Flights will operate three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The new route will enable residents of the Podkarpacie region and southeastern Poland to travel conveniently to one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Balkans. Podgorica serves as a convenient starting point both for those planning a vacation on the Adriatic coast and for tourists interested in active recreation and exploring the region’s beautiful natural landscapes.
The flights will be operated by Wizz Air using the modern Airbus A321neo aircraft. The aircraft offers greater travel comfort, lower noise levels, and increased operational efficiency, which will certainly translate directly into a more comfortable travel experience for passengers.
The new route has been designed with both vacation travel and short city breaks in mind. Flights on the Jasionka-Podgorica route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
