A plane flying from Milan-Malpensa to London-Stansted had to make an emergency landing in France after one passenger wanted to eat his passport and another wanted to flush it down the toilet.
More than two weeks ago, one of the strangest situations in the history of Ryanair occurred on board one of its flights. The incident was reported by the Daily Mail newspaper. During a Ryanair flight from Milan to London Stansted, some very strange things happened, specifically the bizarre behaviour of two passengers. A quarter of an hour after take-off, according to eyewitness accounts, one of the men began tearing pages out of his passport and tried to eat them. The other man tried to flush his passport down the toilet at the rear of the aircraft.
There was a tense atmosphere on the plane, and the cabin crew did not quite know how to deal with the situation. Ultimately, the decision was made to make an emergency landing in France, at Paris-Beauvis airport. The men were arrested and removed from the plane, and all passengers' luggage was re-inspected by the crew. After two hours, the plane took off again for London. We still do not know the reasons for the absurd behaviour of the two men.
